The GCS1742 2 Port Dual Display KVM supports video resolution up to 2048x1536, giving users excellent, crisp images on the screen every time.

Port Switching

There are two ways to access the computers in your KVM setup. Manual switching by pressing the pushbuttons on the unit's front panel and hotkey switching by entering commands from the keyboard.

Share USB 2.0 Devices

The GCS1742 also features two USB 2.0 peripheral ports for asynchronously sharing USB devices between your computers. A powered USB hub may be attached to the peripheral ports for added functionality. Audio and microphone support makes sharing speakers and a microphone a convenience for the users which serves as an extra value.

Asynchronous Switching

The GCS1742's independent (asynchronous) switching feature allows the KVM focus to be on one computer while the USB peripheral focus is on another. The user can switch from one computer to another without interrupting print jobs, downloads or other functions being handled by connected peripherals.
