IOGEAR Limited Hardware Warranty

IOGEAR provides a limited warranty to the end user of IOGEAR’s products. IOGEAR guarantees that the IOGEAR products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase (“Limited Warranty Period”) from an authorized reseller unless a different time period is stated for the product in its packaging or in the listing of the product on our website.  This warranty is valid only in the United States and Canada.

 

During this Limited Warranty Period, IOGEAR will, in its sole discretion, repair or replace a defective product. This is the end user’s sole remedy. IOGEAR does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the products. The warranty will not apply if (i) the product is damaged by accident, improper installation, intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, use with products not manufactured or supplied by IOGEAR, abnormal use, lightning, fire, water, or other acts of nature; (ii) the product is damaged by  alterations or repairs done by anyone other than IOGEAR or an IOGEAR authorized service provider; or (iii) the damage is cosmetic in nature or reasonably expected as a result of normal wear and tear. Replaced and repaired products undertake the remaining warranty period of the original product.

 

When returning the product for replacement or repair, you must ship the product in its original packaging or in packaging that provides an equivalent degree of protection for the product during shipment.  Place your proof of purchase inside the packaging and clearly print the RMA number on the outside of the package. IOGEAR’s support department will provide you with the RMA number, but you will be responsible for the costs associated with shipping the product to IOGEAR. Return requests that do not contain a proof of purchase, such as a store receipt, will not be processed.

 

This limited warranty does NOT cover any products sold on a “Final Sale,” “AS IS,” “Non-Cancellable” or “Non-Returnable” basis.

 

IN NO EVENT WILL IOGEAR OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, REVENUES, ANTICIPATORY PROFIT, OR DIRECT OR INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SALES, USE, OPERATION, OR INABILITY TO USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD.

 

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION, IOGEAR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED UNLESS SUCH A DISCLAIMER IS OTHERWISE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

 

THE TERM OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED ARE LIMITED TO THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PRODUCT PURCHASE EXCEPT AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED TO BE EXTENDED BY APPLICABLE LAW.  IOGEAR’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THIS PRODUCT (PLUS ANY INTEREST ALLOWED BY LAW IF AN APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST). 

 

Removal or alteration of the factory-supplied serial number invalidates this warranty.
